About Us
We Are Here to Serve Our Community
Our mission is to serve the Teton Valley Community as a source for well being by providing high quality instruction in yoga and related disciplines to all seekers.
Our Inspiration
At The Yoga Source, everything begins with our students.
We believe that when students feel welcome, supported, and encouraged to explore their own path, transformation naturally unfolds. Our goal is to make yoga accessible to all — creating space for personal growth, inner peace, and community connection.

We are proud to have some of the most experienced and talented instructors in the Teton Valley. When our teachers are cared for, our students thrive.

That’s why we are committed to supporting a thriving, dedicated community of teachers by providing fair compensation, opportunities for ongoing education and training, and a team culture where we lift one another up.
Because when teachers are empowered, students are inspired — and together, our whole community benefits.

Why a Non-Profit?
At The Yoga Source, everything begins with our students.
Because our mission is to serve the community, every dollar raised goes directly toward enhancing the student experience and reaching more people in the Teton Valley who are curious about yoga and related studies.
Yoga has been shown to lower stress hormones while increasing beneficial brain chemicals like endorphins and GABA — helping to reduce anxiety, improve mood, and support long-term health. This inner transformation naturally extends outward: when one person finds peace and balance, it ripples through our homes, neighborhoods, and the greater community. By benefiting one, we benefit all.
We are dedicated to attracting excellent teachers with a wide range of experience. Our resources go into offering a full weekly schedule, along with special events and workshops designed to meet our students’ diverse needs.
As a community resource, The Yoga Source offers monthly memberships starting at $75 per month or “pay as you are able” options in the studio. We never turn anyone away.
We believe that everyone deserves access to the well-being, clarity, and connection that yoga provides — and through your support, that vision becomes reality.
How Does it Work?
The Yoga Source operates as a nonprofit organization guided by a Board of Directors made up primarily of students, with no more than one teacher serving at a time. This structure ensures continuity and keeps the organization firmly rooted in its mission — to remain student- and community-focused at every level.

Our membership model encourages students to attend classes frequently and explore a variety of offerings. For those who prefer flexibility, drop-in students are welcome to contribute at whatever level feels comfortable, helping sustain our accessible approach to community wellness.

Teachers are compensated based on their experience, allowing them to offer classes during nontraditional hours or design specialized sessions that may serve smaller groups of students. This balance supports both teacher sustainability and student accessibility — ensuring that yoga remains available, diverse, and community-centered.
